How to Use the Weather App

Instructions :-

  1. View Weather for Default Cities : Use the Cities dropdown menu on the navigation bar to quickly check the weather and air quality for pre-selected cities like Nellore, Chennai, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. Just click on the city name to fetch its data.
  2. Search for a Specific City : If you want to check the weather for a different location, use the Search bar on the right side of the navigation bar. Enter the name of any city and hit the Search button. The weather and air quality for that city will be displayed.
  3. Get Your Current Location’s Weather : For real-time weather at your location, click the My Location button. The app will use your device's GPS to detect your position and show you the weather and air quality of your current location.
  4. Understand the Weather Data : Once you select or search for a location, the app shows:
    • Humidity : The percentage of moisture in the air.
    • Temperature : Current, maximum, and minimum temperatures in °C.
    • Air Quality Index (AQI) : The overall air quality, along with specific pollutants such as CO, NO2, O3, PM10, PM2.5, and SO2.
  5. Weather Description and Recommendations : The app also provides recommendations based on the weather and air quality data. You'll find advice on whether it’s safe to go outside based on current conditions (e.g., extreme heat, high humidity, poor air quality).
